The ANC has mastered one thing above all: finding someone else to blame. It’s an art form at this point. If there’s a drought, it’s climate change. If the economy is tanking, it’s the pandemic. If your neighbor’s cat is missing, well, that’s probably an international conspiracy.
ANC ministers would rather find new ways to explain why everything is someone else’s fault than, you know, fix the problem. At this rate, they’ll probably blame the next election loss on “Western imperialism,” as if a power cut wasn’t enough to turn the voters off.
