Just when we thought Eskom had finally found the “ON” switch, the ANC has gone and given us their version of “loadshedding” – but this time, it’s in leadership. Power cuts are bad enough, but leadership cuts? The lights are off in Luthuli House, and nobody’s home!
You’d think after 30 years in charge, the ANC would have figured out how to keep the lights on, but no – we’ve got politicians flicking the switch on common sense as often as Eskom flips the grid. Meanwhile, they assure us, “The lights at the end of the tunnel are powered by renewable energy.” That’s assuming, of course, we can find the tunnel in the dark.
